From March to May 1996, they held their first nationwide tour, "mistio presents AMURO NAMIE with SUPER MONKEY'S TOUR '96," (21 concerts), which included performances at Nippon Budokan and Osaka-jo Hall. and television appearances as a group became less frequent. From August to September of the same year, they held an outdoor live show, "SUMMER PRESENTS '96 AMURO NAMIE with SUPER MONKEY'S.
" After their final performance at Chiba Marine Stadium on September 1, the group went on hiatus (effectively disbanding) and focused on their individual pursuits.
During a Nara performance during their 1999 national tour, they fell off the stage, causing the show to be canceled.
In 2009, they ran the Naha Marathon, completing it in 5 hours, 54 minutes, 42 seconds (net time: 5 hours, 40 minutes, 11 seconds).
On May 8, 2016, she filed for marriage with dancer CHINO after a 15-year relationship.[4]
On September 2, 2019, she announced on her blog that she was pregnant with her first child.[5][6] Later that year, she gave birth to her first child, a boy.[7]
