べらぼう～蔦重栄華乃夢噺～（45）その名は写楽
定信（井上祐貴）らに呼び出された蔦重（横浜流星）は、傀儡好きの大名への仇討ちに手を貸すよう言われる。芝居町に出向いた蔦重は、今年は役者が通りで総踊りをする「曽我祭」をやると聞き、役者の素の顔を写した役者絵を出すことを思いつく。蔦重は、南畝（桐谷健太）や喜三二（尾美としのり）らとともにその準備を進めていくが…。一方、歌麿（染谷将太）は、自分の絵に対して何も言わない本屋に、苛立ちを感じていた…。

- 昌平坂学問所（しょうへいざかがくもんじょ）は、1790年（寛政2年）、神田湯島[注釈 1]に設立された江戸幕府直轄の教学機関・施設。正式の名称は「学問所」であり「昌平黌」（しょうへいこう）とも称される[1]。

碇拓真（佐藤隆太）は、東京水上警察署署長の玉虫肇（椎名桔平）から、2日前に起きた刺殺体ボート漂流事件の捜査を指示される。一方、日下部峻（加藤シゲアキ）からプロポースされた有馬礼子（山下美月）は、彼の気持ちにどう応えるべきかわからずに苦しんでいた。日下部と礼子の関係に気づいていた細野由起子（山口紗弥加）は、そんな礼子に声をかけ、相談に乗った。礼子は、日下部のことだけでなく、自分自身が揺れやすくなっている、とその胸の内を打ち明ける。
するとそこに、碇から連絡が入る。行き詰まっている刺殺体ボート漂流事件の捜査に礼子も参加してほしいというのだ。被害者は都内の産廃処理業者・桂孝一。発見時、桂の遺体は鎖でぐるぐる巻きにされ、左胸には銛が突き刺さっていた。

Mamiya Rinzo was born in 1780 in Kamihirayanagi Village, Tsukuba County, Hitachi Province (present-day Kamihirayanagi, Tsukubamirai City). His given name was Tomomune and his pen name was Busuu, and Rinzo was his nickname.
Rinzo, known as a child prodigy, has many stories that have been passed down through the generations. For example, he taught an effective method for the construction of the Kokai River dam to a shogunate official, and was recognized by the official, leading to his being sent to Edo.
Following his teacher, Murakami Shimanosuke, to Ezo for the first time in 1799, Mamiya Rinzo spent nearly 20 years working in the northern region, developing new roads, planting trees, and surveying, achieving numerous impressive feats in Ezo, the Kuril Islands, and Karafuto.
Among Mamiya Rinzo's achievements, the exploration of Karafuto that led to the discovery of the Mamiya Strait is particularly noteworthy.
In 1808, as part of the shogunate's fifth exploration of Karafuto, he traveled to Rakka with construction officer Matsuda Denjuro. Between that year and the following year, Rinzo embarked on his second exploration, this time alone. He reached Nanio, near the northern tip of Karafuto, and confirmed that Karafuto was an island.
Rinzo stayed in Noteto for a while before embarking on an expedition to mainland China. (Seiwa Genji Toki Clan Branch) *During the Edo period, the main Asano family had a spiral design.
The Asano clan is said to be a branch of the Seiwa Genji Yorimitsu lineage and a branch of the Toki clan. The Kansei Shoshu Shokafu lists its origins as Asano Village, Niwa County, Owari Province. However, there is also another theory that it originated in Asano Village, Toki County, Mino Province. Given that it was a branch of the Mino clan, Mino Province seems more likely.
For example, the Sonpi Bunmyaku notes a man named Mitsutoki, the great-grandson of Toki Mitsunobu, as "Asano Jiro." Mitsutoki is considered the first head of the Asano clan. However, it is unclear how the line between Yoritaka and Nagakatsu is connected. Furthermore, a plaque from when Asano Nagamasa was lord of Wakasa Obama Castle reads "Asano Danjo Shosuke Asano Nagayoshi," and it is known that Nagamasa at the time in 1592 (Tensho 20) called himself "Fujiwara."
Asano Nagakatsu served Oda Nobunaga as an archer, and as he had no sons, he adopted the son of Yasui Yabei Shigetsugu and married his own daughter to him. This adopted son was Nagamasa. However, he did not call himself Nagamasa from the beginning; initially he was called Nagayoshi.
Nagakatsu also married Sugihara Ietoshime, and her sister had a daughter named Ne. Ne's father was Sadatoshi of the Sugihara clan, but she was Nagakatsu's adopted daughter. Sukune was married to Hideyoshi, and Nagamasa was his step-son. Nagamasa succeeded his adoptive father and was a member of Nobunaga's archery team, but eventually served Hideyoshi by Nobunaga's orders. In 1573, Hideyoshi awarded him 120 koku of land, which was gradually increased until in 1571 he became lord of Sakamoto Castle in Omi, in 1572 Obama Castle in Wakasa, and by 1593 he was lord of Fuchu Castle in Kai with 220,000 koku of land.
In Hideyoshi's later years, he served as one of the five magistrates, and joined the Eastern Army at the Battle of Sekigahara.
Nagamasa's eldest son, Yukinaga, joined the Eastern Army at the Battle of Sekigahara, and after the battle he was awarded 376,500 koku of land in the entire Kii province as a reward, and became lord of Wakayama Castle. His descendants took over from Fukushima Masanori when he was stripped of his title, becoming lords of Hiroshima Castle with 426,000 koku of land.

- Ino Tadataka During the Edo period, he surveyed Japan throughout the country and completed the first map of Japan based on actual measurements.
Tadataka was born in 1745 (the second year of the Enkyo era) in what is now Kujukuri Town, Chiba Prefecture, and spent his youth in Yokoshibahikari Town. At the age of 17, he became head of the Ino family and served in Sawara as a village headman and village guardian in addition to working for the family business.
He then handed over the family business, retired, took the name Kaneyu, and moved to Edo at the age of 50. He conducted 10 surveys between the ages of 55 (1800, the 12th year of the Kansei era) and 71 (1816, the 13th year of the Bunka era). The resulting maps were highly accurate and were highly praised in Europe, serving as part of the basic maps of Japan from the Meiji era onwards.

Across from the Ino Tadataka Memorial Museum stands the "Ino Tadataka Former Residence," where Tadataka spent approximately 30 years, from the age of 17 to 49.
The former residence begins with the main gate and storehouse, lined by the banks of the Ono River. The kitchen continues to the rear of the storehouse. Further back, a shoin study and storehouse remain. The structure of each building is as follows:

Also, within the former residential grounds, part of an irrigation canal built in the Edo period remains. Despite some twists and turns, the first survey of Ezo began. It took 180 days to walk the 3,200-kilometer round trip to Nishibetsu near Nemuro, conducting astronomical observations at 81 locations along the way. It was an astonishing display of perseverance.
The survey map of Ezo was highly praised. By correcting for longitude, the topography overlaps with modern maps.
In the second survey, surveying methods were improved, and a survey of the east coast of Honshu began using a rope (the first survey of Ezo was conducted entirely by walking).
The third survey followed, covering the Dewa and Sea of Japan coasts, and the fourth survey followed the Tokaido and Hokuriku roads. In 1804, a map of eastern Japan was completed.
In August, the map was made available for inspection by the Elders of the Shogunate and Wakadoshiyori, and in September it was inspected by the 11th Shogun, Tokugawa Ienari.
Up until this point, it had been Tadataka's personal project, subsidized by the Shogunate, but after this, Tadataka was appointed to a small stipend as a Shogunate retainer (about 45 koku). He accompanied a large number of subordinates, including subordinate officers and apprentices, as part of the Shogunate surveying team, carefully surveying the coasts and major highways of the western provinces, with a letter from the Elders of the Shogunate.
Approximately 80% of the Inō Unit's total surveying days were carried out as part of Shogunate projects. For an overview of the surveying itinerary, please refer to the list of survey diaries. On April 13, Bunka 15/Bunsei 1 (May 17, 1818), Tadataka passed away at the age of 73, at his home in Hatchobori, where he had moved.
As the map was unfinished, work on it was continued by subordinate officers and students, keeping his mourning a secret. It was submitted to the shogunate on July 10, 1821 (August 7, 1821), more than three years after his death.

After this, Yamamura Tazaemon began to transport the water of the "ume no ki" well from his "ume no ki 'kura'" to Uozaki. In addition, there is a "miyamizu" preservation and fact-finding committee that surveys and controls the "miyamizu" wells. In this way, through the achievements of our predecessors, the wonderful "sake" of Nada can be distributed.

■ Miyamizu springs only in a 500-meter square Just a five-minute walk south of Nishinomiya Station on the Hanshin Electric Railway, just south of National Route 43, which connects Osaka and Kobe, is a group of Miyamizu wells. The water springs up in only an area approximately 500 meters east to west and 500 meters north to south. Nada's prestigious sake breweries, including Kiku Masamune, Ozeki, Hakushika, and Sawanotsuru, all have wells here.
Miyamizu is said to have been discovered around 1840 by Yamamura Tazaemon, the sixth-generation head of the long-established Sakura Masamune brewery (Kobe City). According to the company, at the time, sake was brewed in Nishinomiya and Uozaki (Kobe City), but Nishinomiya consistently produced superior quality sake. When Tazaemon transported Nishinomiya's brewing water to Uozaki, he was able to produce equally high-quality sake.
According to Ken Saikawa, managing director of Sumikawa Laboratory (Nishinomiya City), which handles water quality testing and geological surveys, Miyamizu is hard water, rich in minerals. Generally, water with a hardness value of 120 milligrams per liter (calcium and magnesium converted into calcium carbonate) or higher is considered hard water, while water below that is soft water. Miyamizu has a hardness value of 180. Nada Sake Brewing Begins in the 14th Century
Space Nada (Nada) originally refers to a sea with rough winds and waves, making navigation difficult. However, in the liquor industry, it generally refers to the approximately 12km coastal area facing Osaka Bay, stretching from eastern Kobe City to Imazu in Nishinomiya City, the main sake-producing region.
The history of sake brewing in the Nada region dates back to 1624, with brewing in Nishinomiya being the first. However, legend has it that sake brewing dates back even further, to the Genkō and Kenmu eras (around 1330).
Documents from the Muromachi period show that delicious sake comparable to Yanagi Sake, Nanto Morohaku, Amano Sake, and Kiku Sake, which were already renowned throughout the country as "monk's sake and sake brewer's sake," were being brewed in Nishinomiya and Hyogo.
From then on, over the 60-plus years from the Meireki era (1655-) to the Kyoho era (until 1736), many sake breweries were founded in the Nada region and continue to operate to this day, and this period can be considered the rise of Nada sake.

おみえの起こりは詳らかではありませんが、古くより全国にお頒けしていた事は明らかです。
特に寛文3年（西暦1663年）江戸幕府4代将軍徳川家綱公の頃、恵美酒・田神・神馬札三像の神札（御神影）の「日本国中像札賦与御免（にほんこくちゅうぞうさつふごめん）」を仰せ渡され、「日本国中惣檀家（にほんこくちゅうそうだんか）」であることを示されました。以来、西宮神社の御神影を『正像』とし、全国各地で配札された事は、えびす信仰が広がりを見せる大きな契機になったと言えましょう。
徳川幕府の賦与御免以降、当社では御神影を配札するための組織作りが進められる事になりました。配札にあたっては各地の事情に通じた人物に免許状を交付して委託する方法を採りました。この配札者を願人(がんにん)といいます。
のちの幕府の崩壊により多くの願人は西宮神社を離れますが一部でその伝統は西宮講社と名を変え今に続いています。平成25年には賦与御免を仰せ渡されてより350年の大きな節目を迎えました。
この350年余という時間は西宮神社と願人、そして後を継いだ西宮講社(諸国講社)がともに手を携ええびす様のご神徳を広めてきた歴史そのものです。
【徳川家綱】 徳川幕府4代将軍。当社との関係においては寛文3年の本殿寄進が知られる。また、「日本国中像札賦与御免」を仰せ渡されるなど、織田信長の社領没収以降困難を得ていた西宮神社の社勢復興に大きな足掛かりを与えた。なお家綱公により寄進された本殿は国宝に指定されていたが昭和20年の空襲により焼亡している。

- 林家の家塾として 1605年（慶長10年）に林羅山が将軍徳川家康に僧形の学者として出仕した後、1630年（寛永7年）に将軍徳川家光が林家に上野忍岡の五千余坪の土地と二百両を与えて書院と学寮が建てられ、林家の家塾としたのを起源とする[2]。

大成殿及び附属の建物を総称して「聖堂」とし、地名を取って「湯島聖堂」と称され、同地は孔子の生地である「昌平郷」にちなんで「昌平坂」と命名されたため「昌平坂聖堂」とも称された。1691年（元禄4年）、綱吉は林家三代の林信篤（鳳岡）に蓄髪（還俗）を命じ、従五位下に叙して大学頭（唐名は祭酒）の官職に任じた[2]。以後、大学頭の官職は代々林家が世襲して任じられ、聖堂の長の役割も担った。
学問所の設立 1790年（寛政2年）、いわゆる「寛政異学の禁」により幕府の教学政策として朱子学が奨励された。その一環として、聖堂を林家の家塾とする従来の位置づけを改めることとし、1797年（寛政9年）までに「聖堂学規」や職制の制定など制度上の整備を進め、幕府の直轄機関「昌平坂学問所」（昌平黌）を設置した[1]。
1792年（寛政4年）9月に湯島聖堂の仰高門内に講舎が落成すると、旗本や家人を問わず幕臣とその子弟の学問吟味を行うこととされた[2]。
1817年（文化14年）には学問奨励のため17歳から19歳までの者に対して毎年素読吟味を行うこととされた[2]。昌平坂学問所の教師は林門に限られていたが、やがて林門以外の儒者による講義も行われるようになった[2]。

Mamiya Rinzo was a disciple of Tadataka Mamiya Rinzo was a disciple of Ino Tadataka. Evidence of this is abundant in the "Preface to Mamiya Michimune," which he gave to Ino at his request upon the departure of his second Kyushu survey.
Furthermore, Tadataka did not include areas not surveyed by the Ino survey team on the Ino map. This demonstrates his strict positivism, refusing to rely on any data created by others. Mamiya's grave is located in his birthplace, Ina Town, Ibaraki Prefecture (now Tsukubamirai City), but also in Hirano Town, Koto Ward, near Tomioka Hachiman Shrine. The explanation provided by the Koto Ward Board of Education in Tokyo, placed in front of his gravestone, reads as follows:
"Mamiya Rinzo was born in 1780 (An'ei 9) - or, according to one theory, 1784 - in Kamihirayanagi Village, Tsukuba County, Hitachi Province, and died in 1844 (Tempo 15) at his home in Hamaguri-cho, Fukagawa. His name was Tomomune, and he learned surveying from Ino Tadataka. In 1800 (Kansei 12), he became an official employee of the shogunate in Ezo, where he engaged in exploration and surveying of the northern lands, including Ezo. In 1808 (Bunka 5), by order of the shogunate, he explored Sakhalin with Matsuda Denjuro." On July 2nd of the following year, Hayashizo traveled alone from Sakhalin to Siberia, entered Primorsky Krai, and traveled up the Heilongjiang (Amur) River, reaching Deren. This 15-month expedition confirmed that Sakhalin was an island. Hayashizo became world-renowned as a geographer and explorer for being the first European to discover what would later be named the Mamiya Strait.

Kahei loved the sea and boats from an early age, and there are stories that still circulate today of him as a boy floating a toy boat on a nearby river and amazed adults by tracking the tides. At the age of 22, Kahei left for Hyogo (present-day Hyogo Ward, Kobe City) and began his career as a sailor, becoming the captain of a barrel-carrying ship that sailed between Osaka and Edo (present-day Edo).
Eventually, Kahei became an accomplished sailor and founded Takadaya with his brothers, working as a shipping wholesaler connecting Osaka and Ezo (Hokkaido) via ports on the Sea of Japan. At the age of 28, he built the Shinetsu Maru, one of the largest ships in Japan at the time, with a capacity of 1,500 koku, and established Hakodate (Hakodate), then little more than a lonely fishing village, as his base for business.
At the time, the world was entering a new era of exchange after the Age of Discovery. One of the reasons that attracted Russians to Japan was sea otter furs and other creatures. In the early 18th century, Russian fur traders began swarming southward from the Kuril Islands in search of this fur, which was sometimes called "soft gold" due to its commercial value. As their activities intensified, establishing relations with Japan as a supply and trading center became an urgent priority. Meanwhile, the shogunate, concerned about Russians arriving near the islands of Etorofu and Urup and trading with the Ainu, rushed to implement national defense measures.

This attack shocked the Japanese, who mobilized soldiers from the Tohoku domains and went on high alert.
Amid rising tensions between Japan and Russia, in June 1811 (Bunka 8), Captain Golovnin of the Russian Imperial ship Diana, who was conducting a geographical survey of the Kuril Islands on orders from the Navy Ministry, was captured by Japanese patrols upon landing on Kunashiri Island to replenish with water and food.
The Diana, led by its second-in-command, Rikord, came under Japanese artillery fire and abandoned its rescue attempt, returning home. The following August, he again arrived off the coast of Kunashiri and attempted to negotiate through Japanese castaways, but the Japanese side refused.
At a loss, Ricord attempted to find out the captain's whereabouts from a Japanese ship sailing at sea. He captured Kakubei's ship, which happened to be passing by, and took him to Kamchatka for detention.
The imprisoned Kakubei and Ricord lived in the same room and negotiated, "creating a language just for the two of us over the course of the winter." Kakubei persuaded Ricord to submit a certificate from a high-ranking government official stating that the Russian government had neither authorized nor had any knowledge of the series of atrocities.

Perhaps the reason why Kahei Takada's achievements as a navigator remain shining today is because they inspire us with the courage to believe that even in the depths of despair, humans are capable of understanding one another and are worthy of mutual trust. In his book,
